Whereas, as per the notification No. LSGD/PD/24269/2024-EER1 dated 06.09.2024 published in the Extraordinary Gazette No. 2888 dated 07.09.2024, the number of posts to be filled through direct elections in Dharmadam Grama Panchayat in Kannur district has been fixed at 20 and on that basis, draft instructions for dividing the said Grama Panchayat into that number of constituencies and delimiting the boundaries of such constituencies have been published vide notification No. SDC/978/2024/SDC6 dated 18.11.2024; Whereas, time has been allowed till 4.12.2024 for submission of objections and comments regarding the said proposals and the objections and comments so received have been investigated and the complainants have been heard in person and the same has been considered and disposed of; Whereas, under Section 10 of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, the Dharmadam Grama Panchayat has been divided into 20 constituencies and the boundaries have been determined and a final order has been issued, as shown in the table annexed hereto.
